James Anthony "Jim" Sturgess (born 16 May 1981) is an English actor and singer-songwriter. His breakthrough role was appearing as Jude in the musical romance drama film Across the Universe (2007).

In addition to his acting career, Sturgess continues to be active as a songwriter, writing and performing two songs for his role in Crossing Over. Three of his vocal performances are heard in the film Heartless (2009), two co-written by writer/director Philip Ridley and Nick Bicat. He is also involved with a band, Tragic Toys, in collaboration with his longtime girlfriend, Mickey O’Brien.
In January 2010, an official MySpace page featuring music written and performed by Sturgess was launched. Currently a total of six songs are featured, with several credited to either Dilated Spies or Saint Faith. Also on the site is "Make Your Mind Up", used for the film Crossing Over. The genre is described as Alternative / Ambient / Electro on the site.

Matthieu Chedid (also known as -M-) (born 21 December 1971, in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine) is a French rock singer-songwriter and guitar player.

Chedid performs and records under the stage name -M-. Chedid created -M- as means of overcoming his shyness on stage and also as a way of distancing his work from that of his father and grandmother. The pseudonym comes from Chedid's first initial but also refers to the similar sounding French word aime, meaning love. The character -M- is a superhero, noted for having a playful nature, and recognized for his flamboyant costumes (primarily monochrome suits with slim trousers and long jackets with upward pointed collars) and hair styled into the shape of an M.

Rumors circulated before the release of his 2009 studio album, "Mister Mystère", that Chedid had decided to drop the character -M- to record and perform under his given name The album, however, was released under the name -M- but included photographs of the singer without the wild costumes and hair associated with the -M- character. The music video for the first single, "Le roi des ombres", showed Chedid burning a tiny effigy of his alterego.

Helene Fischer (born August 5, 1984) is a German singer and entertainer. Since her debut in 2005 she has had won several awards, including three "Echo" awards and three "Krone der Volksmusik" awards.

During her time at the Stage & Musical School, her mother secretly copied a demo CD with six songs of Helene and communicated it to different recording studios to gauge the reaction of professionals.

Her circle of fans extends beyond Germany in large part to Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

Helene's debut on stage took place on May 14, 2005 in a program of the TV channel ARD. It was a duet with the singer Florian Silbereisen. The two later became a couple.

Her popularity has seen great success; she has won three prestigious “Echo” (German Grammy) awards, the coveted “Goldene Henne” twice, and the “Krone der Volksmusik” prize three times. All her albums and DVDs have achieved multiple gold and double platinum status. Her songs, with their stories of the everyday worries and woes of home-loving folks, are lyrically close to what the English speaking world calls “Country” although musically quite different.

She released her first English album, "The English Ones", on June 7, 2010. The album was produced by Jean Frankfurter, one of the most renowned German producers, composers and arrangers of the previous 40 years. The album opens new horizons for Helene: “I have always dreamed of singing my songs in another language. English is the language of Country, the music that we call ’Schlager’. Language is a tool, but it is important that what you sing comes from the heart – and that is what this album is about.”
